The Temple’s Tower
This is a short where I put all the skills that I’ve been learning for the last ten years to the test.
I modeled, textured, and rigged 1:1 scale Training Remote Droids. Created and textured a 3D environment from scratch. Filmed plates of myself in front of a greenscreen. 3D Tracked all shots in Blender using Keentools Geotracker. Rendered the shots in the Cycles render engine, and set the output to OpenEXR Multilayer. Brought those renders into After Effects and applied the ExtractoR effect to them. Composited both the live action plates with the CG renders. Added sound effects and music.
